Privacy Policy

ZERO is a debt payoff planner made by edevzi. It is built so that we know as little about you as possible. This page explains, plainly, what the app stores, where it goes, and what never leaves your hands.

What ZERO stores

Your plan data. Debt names, balances, interest rates, minimum payments, monthly capacity, payments you log, milestones, and settings. You type these in; we never connect to your bank.
Your name, if you give one. You can type a name, or use Sign in with Apple to fill it in. That is all Sign in with Apple does here: it asks Apple only for your name, never your email address, and the name and the identifier Apple returns are stored in exactly the same private place as everything else. It creates no account with us, unlocks nothing, and is never required.
Nothing else. ZERO has no sign-up and no account on any server of ours, and we never receive your name, email address, or phone number.

Where it lives

On your device. All plan data is stored locally on your iPhone.
In your iCloud, if you turn it on. If you enable iCloud sync, your plan data syncs through your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. It is stored in your private database, which we cannot read or access. Apple's handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

What we can see

Purchases. Subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed by Apple. To validate purchases and manage entitlements, ZERO uses RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous identifier and purchase receipt data. This cannot be used by us to identify you personally.
Nothing more. ZERO contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no trackers. We do not see your debts, your balances, or your payoff date.

Notifications

Reminders (payment days, plan days, streaks, milestones, trial reminders) are scheduled locally on your device. They never pass through our servers — we don't have any.

Face ID and passcode

If you enable the app lock, authentication is performed entirely by iOS. ZERO only receives a yes or no; biometric data is never available to the app.

Exports

CSV export creates a file on your device at your request. Where you send it is up to you.

Deleting your data

Use Erase everything in the app's settings to delete all plan data from the device (and from your iCloud, if sync was on), or simply delete the app. There is no server-side copy to ask us to delete.

Children

ZERO is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date. Material changes will be called out in the app's release notes.
